Norman Drake

Norman Drake

Norm Drake, the CEO and senior principal of Legacy Development, has nearly 30 years of business leadership experience. In 1990, he founded Micro Medical Systems, a cardiovascular information systems company. Under his leadership, Drake turned this startup business into a prominent national health care information systems company before selling the company to General Electric in 2000. Since then, Drake has focused his attention on real estate development, investment properties and the community. His responsibilities include conceptualizing, financing and management of properties for Legacy Development and ensuring successful outcomes for all parties involved. Drake’s vision has made Legacy Development a leader in creating impactful developments in the community.

Paul Cink

Paul Cink

Dr. Paul Cink is a Legacy Development principal with more than 25 years of real estate investing and more than 10 years in real estate development. His responsibilities include investor development and relations, lender relations, corporate governance and new markets including the assessment of medical office assets. 

Dr. Cink is a retired otolaryngologist who specialized in head and neck surgery for more than 30 years. He brings extensive experience in the governance and operations of medical office buildings including medical clinics, surgical hospitals, ASCs, urgent cares and the general business of medicine for the acquisitions of MOBs.

Daren Ketcham

Vice President, Principal

Daren Ketcham

As vice president, Ketcham’s areas of responsibility include strategy, development, administration, finance, company culture and communications. He has leadership experience with the City of Sioux Falls, Metro Communications Agency and the State of South Dakota. He has served on numerous boards and committees on the local, state and national level. Born and raised in South Dakota, Ketcham received his Bachelor of Science in political science and Graduate Certificate in state government leadership from the University of South Dakota. He earned his Master of Business Administration degree in business management from the University of Sioux Falls.

Ketcham is focused on growing the Legacy development portfolio while enhancing shareholder value, customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Brian Bauer

General Counsel/ Responsible Broker

Brian Bauer

Bauer, JD, MBA, LLM, is a tax-planning, business and real estate attorney who specializes in purchase transactions, commercial and residential real estate leases and real estate development including planning, zoning and land use issues. Bauer has a bachelor’s degree from Augustana University, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of South Dakota (USD), a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree (JD) from USD School of Law and a Legum Magister (LLM) Master of Laws in Taxation degree from the University of Denver School of Law. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of South Dakota and is an adjunct professor of law at the USD School of Law. Bauer brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to each Legacy Development project from the due diligence phase to the actual development and management phases of each project.

Cain is a seasoned business executive with a strong record of success in marketing, management and public relations. He holds degrees in business administration and marketing and has proven success in managing large accounts with expert skills in communication with individuals of high net worth. Cain manages Legacy’s investor relations department and serves as the primary liaison between our valued clients and our partners. For investors or for someone interested in investing, he is often the first point of contact and is a wealth of information on our current projects. Cain does a phenomenal job managing day to day investor expectations and needs.
Chase Wood

Chase focuses on value-oriented, off-market acquisition, disposition and restructuring strategies for national, regional and local investment clients.  Additional responsibilities at Legacy include strategy, new market development and cultivating relationships and opportunities to help grow the Legacy portfolio.  Chase also serves on the board of directors of Sun Surety Insurance Company, a national insurer with coverage in 42 states.  
Sara Bosch

Chief Financial Officer

Sara Bosch

Sara Bosch, our Chief Financial Officer, is a CPA with many years of experience since earning her Bachelors of Arts in Accounting and Finance at Northwestern College and has recently earned her Masters of Science in Taxation at Golden Gate University. She joined our team after working at a top 25 CPA firm in the country. Sara excels at Legacy Developments with her bright personality and impressive problem solving skills making her excellent at communicating with Legacy’s investors and vendors to complete our financial needs in a timely manner.
