Sioux Falls will soon have another fitness option. Solidcore has leased space in the quickly-growing Liberty Square development at 85th Street and Minnesota Avenue.
Solidcore is a Pilates concept, based on building total-body strength. The 50-minute classes are led by a coach and focus on personalized attention and accountability throughout each class.
With nearly 60 locations nationwide, Sioux Falls marks one of Solidcore’s first locations in the Midwest.
“This is yet another great addition to Liberty Square,” said Ryan Tysdal of VanBuskirk Cos., who is the listing agent for the property. “It’s exciting to see Solidcore zero in on Sioux Falls as one of their first locations in the Midwest. And it’s equally exciting to see them choose 85th and Minnesota as their first Sioux Falls location.”
Construction recently began on the final retail building in front of the southside Walmart Supercenter. Solidcore will join Code Ninjas as the first tenants in the latest building. The new building will be 12,500 square feet with six retail spaces and located next to the existing strip mall that opened in 2018.
“We’re very pleased with progress at Liberty Square,” said Norm Drake, Legacy Development CEO and Manager of 85th & Minnesota, LLC. “We’ve really enjoyed bringing great small-shop options for retail tenants to this area.”
Solidcore joins a growing list of tenants at Liberty Square, including Orangetheory Fitness, SafeSplash Swim School and Urban Chislic. “We have five total spaces still available for lease, including a drive-thru endcap that would be ideal for a restaurant,” said Tysdal.
Construction on the latest retail building is to be complete by the end of spring, with tenants opening mid-summer.
