Legacy Development & Consulting Company will assist DGR Engineering with a new office building in eastern Sioux Falls. Construction on the new 16,000-square-foot building at Dawley Farms near Veteran’s Parkway and 26th Street will begin later this year, with an anticipated occupancy in the fall of 2022.
Founded in 1952, DGR Engineering employs about 150 professionals in three tri-state locations. DGR Engineering’s Sioux Falls staff work on projects in and around Sioux Falls and throughout the region. The company provides civil and site development services, water/wastewater, electrical power, and aviation engineering, as well as providing engineering support services including landscape architecture, land acquisition, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and land surveying.
DGR Engineering opened its first Sioux Falls office in 1973 to best serve the Sioux Falls area and other South Dakota clients. Due to substantial growth in recent years, the current office building located at 57th Street and Southeastern Avenue is no longer adequate for the growing staff. The proposed office building allows DGR Engineering to continue to grow and expand staff and services by more than doubling its office space.

Long-standing Sioux Falls companies are supporting the project and leading the development of DGR Engineering’s new Sioux Falls office building. Legacy Development & Consulting Company, LLC is the development consultant for the project.

Hoogendoorn Construction, Inc. based in Canton, SD will serve as the general contractor, and Architecture Incorporated of Sioux Falls, SD is the architect on the project.
