Construction update at former Hidden Valley Stables

Hidden Valley Development

Despite tough April weather, construction at Hidden Valley is moving along very well.

This summer, JJ’s Wine, Spirits & Cigars plans to open in a 10,000-square-foot building that will combine its beverage store with a bakery and event space.

Cambria Gallery and Stone Center will also move to the former Hidden Valley Stables property late summer. Owner Jud Pins will lease 4,100 square feet in a 15,000-square-foot retail center.

“It’s an opportunity to be in that part of town that doesn’t come up very often, so I reached out to Norm and said let’s make a deal,” Jud Pins said in a recent media interview.

Pins is taking one end space in his retail center, and the rest can be divided various ways and could include a drive-thru on the other end. The remainder of the site includes two lots being developed – a 4-acre and a 3.5-acre lot that could be subdivided.
